About Bellyful
Bellyful nourishes whānau and connects communities by bringing volunteers together to cook and deliver meals to families with babies and young children who are without a support network. We currently have about 700 volunteers in 25 branches across Aotearoa. These incredible volunteers provide over 35,000 meals to whānau in their region each year, supported by our very small, high-performing paid National Support Team. Our Board plays a crucial role in shaping Bellyful’s future, ensuring sustainability, supporting our team and enhancing our impact.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who share our commitment to supporting whānau. We are looking for individuals with governance experience who are keen to help us further improve and grow this wonderful charity.
Your Commitment
Board members serve on a voluntary basis and are expected to attend regular board meetings (held online) approximately 6 weekly, with in person meetings twice a year. These will be held in either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Some additional engagement with key donors and supporters may also be required.
