Bellyful gets Auckland Airport grant for families in neonatal units

Bellyful has been awarded $12,000 from Auckland Airport’s Twelve Days of Christmas campaign. 

It’s being used to pay for the meals Bellyful Franklin and Bellyful East Auckland provide especially for the Middlemore NICU.

Congratulations to @autuni students Keeley Bates a Congratulations to @autuni students Keeley Bates and Madeleine Robertson who took out the 'Student ORCA' with a brilliant radio ad they created for Bellyful. Their ‘Help Them Feel Human Again’ campaign is fantastic and wonderfully nails our mahi! The runners-up, @mediadesignschool’s Emily Boswell, Romy Lane and Mikayla Riddell also made an amazing campaign for us 'Too Much On Your Plate'. It was a privilege to be part of this competition, to share what we do with these clever students and see them work their magic. We also loved getting to know our fellow 'clients' @talk_peach - an important charity doing very cool things to raise awareness of gynaecological cancer. Thanks to @theradiobureaunz AUT and Media Design School for making us part of this!
Farewell and thank you to our outgoing Board Chair Farewell and thank you to our outgoing Board Chair, Carolyn Stiles. Carolyn has spent five years as a Trustee and during that time she has always considered issues thoroughly and carefully, listening and then providing clear and supportive guidance. Her legacy will be long-lived as Bellyful continues to reach more whānau with the systems it needs to thrive. We were delighted to recognise Carolyn with a five-year Enduring Heart Award and a Shining Heart Award at our recent Heart Awards celebration in Wellington. Ngā mihi maioha Carolyn. Trustee Fiona Wilson has been appointed Bellyful Chair and is excited to guide us into the next phase.
