Across Aotearoa, hundreds of wāhine give their time, energy and love to cook and deliver meals, run our branches and fundraise so we can be there for families when they need us.
International Women’s Day is a moment to recognise the achievements of women everywhere, and the strength of women supporting women in our communities.

To every woman who has ever cooked, delivered, coordinated, supported us, referred to us, or received a Bellyful meal, thank you for being part of our Bellyful family.

Macaroni March starts today.

Across Aotearoa, people are hosting macaroni dinners, running pasta drives, baking for koha and rallying their workplaces — raising the funds that keep meals going out to families doing it tough.

When life gets overwhelming, a delivered meal is more than food. It’s knowing someone cares.

👉 Donate the cost of a meal today and help fill a freezer for a whānau who needs it - find the link in our bio or visit bellyful.org.nz.

This one feels pretty special.

Our fabulous Bellyful Wellington West Branch Coordinator, Jacqui Jago, has been named a Paul Harris Fellow by The Rotary Foundation. Her citation recognises her “long-standing commitment to supporting families in need and strengthening community well-being”. That’s Jacqui all over.

For more than 14 years, Jacqui has led Bellyful Wellington West, supporting families in Karori and neighbouring communities with care and kindness.

Jacqui leads a dedicated local Bellyful team cooking and delivering meals to families who need a break. During Covid, she also coordinated food parcels from her own home, and she has supported initiatives like Christmas gift collections so children and caregivers could choose presents at no cost.

We are so proud of you, Jacqui. Thank you for the leadership and generosity you bring to volunteers and families in Wellington, week in and week out.
